7) access to internet for literature and health-related information searches
8) disease-state counseling
9) compounding extemporaneous formulations
10) prescriptive authority
11) opportunities for visitation to other health-related agencies, e.g., EMS, health department, hospice,
governmental agencies, managed care organizations
12) pharmacotherapy/pharmaceutical care research
c. Participate in selected student seminars at the regional AHEC.
Preceptors and their practice sites will be evaluated by students, school and AHEC faculty. The results of this evaluation will be communicated to the preceptor.
