| For those individuals who need housing, University housing is available and costs are included in the Residential Participant Fee. This housing is within walking distance to the School of Pharmacy, on-campus eating facilities and Franklin St., which includes numerous restaurants, nightlife and shopping. | A continental breakfast will be available each day before class and will include various pastries and fruit as well as coffee and juices. Lunches will be made available during class days and can range from sandwiches to pizza to catered 'hot' food. No formal dinners are planned except the picnic on the Day Off. The University of North Carolina is ~20 minutes away from the Raleigh Durham International Airport (RDU), ~ 1 hour from the Piedmont Triad International Airport (GSO) and ~2.5 hours from the Charlotte-Douglas International Airport (CLT) . By car, the University is easily accessible via Interstate-40 which runs from Los Angeles, CA to Raleigh, NC. Driving, Chapel Hill is 2.5 hours from Richmond, VA; 5 hours from Washington, DC; 6 hours from Atlanta, GA; and 8 hours from Nashville, TN.
