The Division of Medicinal Chemistry and Natural Products invites outstanding individuals to apply for a position as a full professor at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Preference will be given to candidates with research programs focused on the chemical synthesis of small molecules useful for interrogating both defined molecular targets and signaling pathways relevant to physiology and disease.
The successful candidate will have a vigorously-funded, internationally-recognized record of research and scholarship. A competitive relocation and expansion package will be available and, in addition, exceptional candidates will be considered for an endowed professorship. The position also requires demonstrated excellence in classroom and laboratory education.
