Johann Gasteiger, PhD, a professor at the Computer-Chemie-Centrum and
Institute for Organic Chemistry at the University of Erlangen-Nürnberg,
will deliver a seminar at the UNC School of Pharmacy on Thursday,
April 17.
Gasteiger's presentation is titled "Chemoinformatics—Addressing
Fundamental Topics of a Chemist". It will be held in Kerr Hall, room 2001,
from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. The seminar is sponsored by the Carolina Center
for Exploratory Cheminformatics Research and hosted by Alex Tropsha,
PhD, the chair of the School's Division of Medicinal Chemistry and Natural
Products.
