The Division of Medicinal Chemistry and Natural Products will present a
seminar by Mike Crimmins, PhD, on Wednesday, April 9. The seminar
will be in Kerr Hall, room 2001, from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m.
Crimmins is the chair of the UNC Department of Chemistry. His research
program focuses on synthetic organic chemistry, including the
development of new synthetic methods, novel synthetic strategies, and
total synthesis of biologically active and structurally interesting natural
products. His seminar is titled "Synthetic Approaches to Marine Natural
Products".
