The Institute for Pharmacogenomics and Individualized Therapy at the
UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy will present a seminar by Rick Hockett,
MD, PhD, on Tuesday, October 14.
Hockey is the Director of Genomics in the Translational Medicine/
Pharmacogenomics division at Eli Lilly and Company. His seminar is titled
"The DMET Chip".
The presentation will be held from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. in the Bioinformatics
Building, room 1131. Refreshments will be served after the seminar.
The seminar is part of IPIT's series of monthly, one-hour seminars intended
to address cutting-edge topics in pharmacogenomics and personalized
medicine in a manner that engages a broad audience. The series includes
world-class experts who will present and debate a wide range of important
scientific, regulatory, clinical, laboratory, and policy issues that have
implications for the successful translation of pharmacogenomics into clinical
