Technology

The School currently has four classrooms that are fully wired for video conferencing. In addition, the School has two mobile carts with plasma displays and cameras, which makes it possible to bring conferencing capability to almost any room in the School. This sophisticated technology has been put to use in the UNC/ECSU Doctor of Pharmacy Partnership Program, which uses video-conferencing equipment and Web-based teaching software to deliver instruction to students at Elizabeth City State, some two hundred miles away from Chapel Hill.

In addition to those four state-of-the-art classrooms, the School has numerous conference rooms that are furnished with wireless Internet access, data jacks, laptop connections, plasma screens, and in-room PCs, VCRs, and DVD players.
