Kyle A. Weant is the Neurosurgery Clinical Specialist and a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of North Carolina.  Dr. Weant graduated with a B.S. in Science Education in 1998 and a PharmD in 2003 both from UNC-Chapel Hill.  Following completion of a PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Residency and a PGY2 Critical Care Specialty Residency at the University of Kentucky, Dr. Weant returned to Chapel Hill in his current position.  His responsibilities include coordinating the critical care elective, lecturing at the school, precepting students and residents, and devoting the majority of his time to patient care activities.  He has a strong interest in research, largely involving the various areas of critical care.
