Initiative. Desire. Opportunity. These things drive professional and graduate students at the UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy. We are educating the future leaders in pharmaceutical science, discovery, and practice.

The School educates 500 professional students and 100 graduate students, postdocs, residents, and fellows each year. These students benefit from the expertise of a faculty consisting of more than one hundred on- and off-campus clinical practitioners and researchers who are leaders in pharmaceutical practice and research.

Carolina's status as a major research university provides opportunities that you won't find elsewhere. Our location on UNC’s health sciences campus creates many opportunities for collaborative teaching, practice, and research with the Schools of Medicine, Nursing, Dentistry, Public Health, and Social Work.

In addition to the resources that UNC provides, the School’s access to a model Area Health Education Center system, an award-winning hospital system,and Research Triangle Park, an international center for pharmaceutical research and development, creates one of the most dynamic centers of learning in the nation.
