Once your Phase I and Phase II applications have been submitted, the Admissions Committee will review the entire application (PharmCAS and the UNC-specific forms) and decide whether to invite you to interview with our program. Not all applicants will be invited to interview. Interviews will be scheduled December through March. Please note that the interview is just as important in the admission process as other factors such as grades and PCAT scores.
A combination of faculty, staff, students, and alumni will participate in your interview session. We want this to be a two-way conversation, so we encourage you to bring your own questions as well. Generally, a panel of two interviewers (faculty and/or alumni) will interview each applicant. There will also be an opportunity to talk to current PharmD students.
Note: Pharmacy applicants are expected to act professionally in all of their dealings with the UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy and PharmCAS. Successful applicants will be those who best demonstrate careful attention to detail by adhering to all instructions and meeting all deadlines. Responsibility, respect, good judgment, and cooperation are qualities valued by the pharmacy profession; applicants are expected to demonstrate these qualities beginning with the application process.
