When an offer of new employment, regardless of employment classification, has been accepted, a new employee form should be submitted. This form can be submitted any time after the offer is accepted, however, it must be received by ITSOP at least two weeks prior to the start date. Click here for the form.
If you have a software question (e.g., "How do I add slide transitions to my Power Point presentation?") you should email ITSOP@unc.edu.
If you need immediate help after hours or on the weekend, contact the Information Technology Response Center (ITRC). The phone number of the ITRC is 962-HELP (962-4357). You can also submit a help request online from their web site http://help.unc.edu. The web site also includes many instructive documents on software, hardware, training, and other resources available at UNC.
If something goes wrong with your School of Pharmacy computer you should send a help request to ITSOP@unc.edu. One of our friendly IT support staff will assist you in solving the problem. The IT support staff are available Monday-Friday from 8:00-5:00.
Note: the School of Pharmacy IT support staff can only work on departmental computers that are located in either Beard or Kerr Hall. If you have a departmental computer that you use at home, you will need to bring it to the school to be repaired.
If you need immediate assistance with your computer after 5:00 p.m., contact the ITRC at 962-HELP (962-4357) or send them a help request online from
their web site http://help.unc.edu. The ITRC also has two walk-in locations on campus for repairs or software installation:
