Equipment Reservations
To request an equipment reservation please fill out the EQUIPMENT RESERVATION FORM.

Policies for checking out equipment:
- All equipment is reserved on a first come, first served basis. Email itsop@unc.edu to reserve equipment.
- Reservations must be made with IT at least 24 hours in advance Monday through Friday. Advance reservations are strongly recommended to ensure equipment availability.
- Users are responsible for picking up and signing out equipment from IT 30 minutes before their reservation time. Users must return all cabling and power cords associated with equipment. Users will be responsible for obtaining replacement parts, if necessary.
- All equipment must be returned by the specified time. If you need to keep an item longer than anticipated, please notify IT as soon as possible. If items are available, we will attempt to accommodate your request. All equipment must be picked up or returned between the hours of 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM. It is not acceptable to leave equipment outside of the office door. Please inform IT of any cancellations as soon as possible. If a reservation is not cancelled, records will indicate a "No Show". Repeated "No Shows" will result in limitations or termination of future equipment use.
- All equipment is for use by School of Pharmacy students, staff, and faculty only. Use is limited to school-related activities.
- Projectors and PC's must be turned off after use or when not being used for periods of a half-hour or more. You are responsible for communicating this rule to guest lecturers or students in your class who are using the equipment.
- No unauthorized software is allowed on School of Pharmacy computers. We recommend that you use the "K drive", floppy disks, zip disks, or CD-RW’s to bring your files to class. Please do not leave documents on the computer desktop. Unauthorized software and documents left on computers are subject to deletion at any time.
