Dr. Thomason is a Clinical Assistant Professor and Associate Director of the External Doctor of Pharmacy Program at the School of Pharmacy, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She received a BS in Pharmacy (1992) and a Doctor of Pharmacy (1994) from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Dr. Thomason also completed a Post-Doctoral fellowship in Clinical Research and Drug Development with the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Glaxo-Wellcome Inc. She has worked in a variety of pharmacy practices including hospital, industry and education. Her primary interest in teaching, practice and research is Women's Health Issues; in particular, contraception and pregnancy.
